That’s a really corny title for an update, sorry about that.

But it’s already June of 2026, and it’s high time to shoot another project progress report into the void.

Here we go!

WULFWOODE

For over two years, a story has been pacing at the edge of my mind like a wolf in the treeline—patient, watchful, waiting for the right moment to step into the clearing. I kept telling myself I’d get to it “after Greycross Book I,” or “after Beastform,” or “when the time is right.”

Turns out the time is now.

I’m officially announcing Wulfwoode, a liminal / folk-horror novella that I’ve been nipping away at for a couple of years. I’m already mostly through the first draft, and the story came out fast—not constructed but revealed.

Wulfwoode follows Eldric of Culmoor, a seasoned wolf‑hunter with a haunted past, his young son / huntsman-in-training William, and their two hounds as they guide a duke and his entourage into the Northern Crest—a stretch of ancient forest the locals call Wulfwoode. What begins as a par force hunt quickly unravels into something older and darker than any of them expect.

Journeying deep into the mists and trees, they might just find that all the whispers of wraiths, witches, and an entity that is both wolf and man are true.

Guilt, inheritance, superstition, old gods, and the uncanny all converge in a story that feels like it’s been waiting centuries to be told.

Wulfwoode is a tight, atmospheric descent into an ancient and haunted liminal space, a father‑son tragedy, and a confrontation with the monstrous.

I’m completing Wulfwoode alongside my edits for Greycross and Beastform (see below), working on it a little each day while the fire is hot. My goal is to finish and release it by the end of the summer, alongside Beastform, as part of a broader exploration of wolf‑lore, transformation, and the mythic shadow.

Publication date should be between August and September, just in time for Spooky Season!

BEASTFORM

Ah, yes—my much fabled and whispered about tome of werewolf folklore, with unique scholarly framing, depth psychology analyses, and a collection of original sources from centuries past.

It is currently 85% of the way to completion, I’m delighted to say.

It will likely be released in tandem with Wulfwoode just ahead of spooky season.

This is the final concept, and I’m happy with just how heavy metal it looks. In fact, I think BEASTFORM would make an awesome name for a metal band!

GREYCROSS – BOOK I: TWILIGHT AT PRIMROSE

At long last, I’m in the final editing phase for my debut Greycross novel.

The story is fully written, and the pieces are all fitted together. All we need now is just a bit of spit ‘n shine before it’s turned loose upon the world.

The first entry in a Gothic Fantasy / Occult Mystery / Horror series with a deep cosmology, this novel has been in the works for around three years—and it’s been a hell of a mountain to climb.

At the current rate I’m working, it should be on shelves between July and August, and I absolutely can’t wait.

CRUEL SUMMER

So, for the remainder of the summer, I’ll be locked in my mythic forge hammering away at these books.

I also have a YouTube launching in parallel to the publication of the first Greycross book, which will be my official author/creator channel featuring a wide variety of cool content (read more HERE).

Essentially, YouTubing is positioned to be the next facet of my creative universe, another medium to experiment with and express myself through. My channel will capture all aspects of my work, my creative journey, and the mad meanderings of my mind.

I’ll be dishing on everything from creativity, philosophy, mythology, modernity, writing, futurism, depth psychology, and whatever the hell else I feel like, either from my study or out in the wilds. I’m also going to be narrating passages from my stories and books, as well as sharing deep dives into my original lore and worldbuilding.

I’m composing some haunting, gothic piano nocturnes, dark ambient pieces, and all kinds of experimental atmospheric tunes over there, perfect for late night focus sessions, writing fantasy, or just escaping into another world.
